Mr. Wilford Walt Lancaster, 77, a resident of Hornbeak, died Thursday, November 8, 2018, at his residence.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Lancaster was born December 11, 1940, in Sommerville, Tn., son of the late Richard and Pearl (Jones) Lancaster. He married the former Peggy Ann Turpin October 30, 2003, and she survives.
He was a retired maintenance worker for the Tennessee Department of Transportation and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Lancaster is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Roger Norris, of Union City; and a brother and sister-in-law Donald and Debbie Lancaster of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Wayne and William Lancaster.
