Aline Kitchens Converse of East Point died August 17, 2006. A former beautician, she was the owner/operator of her own shop in East Point and a member of East Point First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Perry E. Kitchens and Ben Converse, and her daughter, Barbara Jean Kitchens Bitely. She is survived by her four grandchildren, O.D. Bitely III, Karen Hilkert-Dunn, Susan Bitely, and Sheryl Bitely, all of Louisville, KY; eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; brother, Hubert Jones of Palmetto, GA; and caregivers, Gueran Martin, Beatrice Johnson, Utes Marcus, and Ruth Coney. Graveside services will be 11 AM Tuesday August 22nd at Westview Cemetery with Chaplain Thomas L. Francis officiating. Friends and family will assemble at the funeral home at 10 AM Tuesday for procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday August 21st from 6-8 PM.
