Obituary for Barry Burgess, 57, of Middleton
Barry Burgess, age 57, of Middleton, departed this life Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Memorial graveside services will be held at a later date at Rogers Springs Cemetery.

Born in Ripley, MS on April 9, 1961, he was the son of Annie Burgess Ballard of Middleton and the late Brinson Burgess. He lived most of his life in Hardeman County and lived in New Albany for about 20 years. He owned Burgess Construction and worked as a carpenter. A 1979 graduate of Middleton High School, he studied for a while at Jackson State Community College. He was known for raising Yorkie dogs and enjoyed researching genealogy and playing golf. Mr. Burgess served in the US Navy from 1983-87 and was a member of Rogers Springs Church of Christ.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Christina Djurickovic (Danny) of California, Autumn Burgess of Memphis and Cassandra Burgess of Tennessee; a stepdaughter, Kylynn Hale (Garrett) of New Albany, MS; two sisters, Frances Kennamore McKee and Janice Lipford (Sam), both of Middleton; his mother, Annie Burgess Ballard of Middleton; and special friends who took care of him, Sandy and Dennis Roaten of New Albany, MS.

Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to Rogers Springs Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
