STELLA DAVIS HARRISON Stella Davis Harrison, 89, of the Glade community, died on Friday, April 2, 2004 at Laurelwood Nursing Home in Laurel. Funeral services will be held at 3;30 p.m. Sunday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel. Burial will be in Lake Park Cemetery in Laurel. The Rev. Mike Thompson will officiate. She was a homemaker and a member of Glade Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Matthew Harrison; and a son, Daniel Matthew Harrison. Mrs. Harrison is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Sharon Harrison of Laurel; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Mike Hayes of Laurel; six grandchildren, Stephanie Sanderson, Bryan Hayes, Mace Harrison, Erin Sievers, Jennifer Buster, and Lori Huber; eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Junior Davis of Laurel; her sister, Geraldine Pitts of Laurel; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ken Pitts, Huey Pitts, Homer Cooley, Johnny Davis, George Pippen and Tommy Scrimpshire. Memorials may be made to Glade Baptist Church building fund. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
