"Billie Hankins McCoy age 89 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 11, 2019. She was born in Logan County, Kentucky on December 29, 1929 to the late Grover Cleveland and Leona May (Ramsey) Hankins. She is a member of the Adairville Baptist Church, was a farmer, Former Deputy with the Logan County Sheriff Department, and a Nurse. Billie is preceded in death by a son Terry McCoy, two brothers; Floyd Hankins and Harold Hankins and six sisters; Elizabeth Dickson, Ruth Holloway, Lucille Sanders, Annabelle Robins, Frances Pearson and Louise Bennett.

She is survived by her:

Husband of 69 years Claude McCoy, son David McCoy (Susan) of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, daughter Debbie Britt (Danny) of Auburn, Kentucky, brother James Hankins of California, four grandchildren; Holly, Dan, Shane Ann and Claude David and five great grandchildren; Cookie, Crandal, Travis, Wade and Trenton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Billie Hankins McCoy will be conducted Monday, January 14, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. Gene Vincent officiating and burial to follow in the Dripping Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Monday from 11:00 A.M. until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.

Pallbearers: Claude David McCoy Jr., Dan Britt Jr., Travis Pond, Crandal Barrow, Traven Pond, Mark Barrow and Rick Pike."
