Claudy Douglas McCoy age 97 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020. He was born in Butler County, Kentucky on September 29, 1923 to the late Turner Moses and Flossie (Mayhew) McCoy. Claudy was retired from AT & T where he was a Electronic Tech, Farmer, World War II Army Veteran and a member of the Adairville Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Billie (Hankins) McCoy, a son Terry McCoy, six brothers Ezra McCoy, Shelby McCoy, Neron McCoy, Wilbur McCoy, Leonard McCoy and Fred McCoy and two sisters Lottie Peay and Audrey Peay. Claudy is survived by his:



Son David McCoy (Susan) of Goodlettsville, Tennessee and daughter Debbie Britt (Danny) of Auburn, Kentucky, four grandchildren; Holly, Dan, Shane Ann and Claude David and 5 great grandchildren; Cookie, Crandal, Travis, Wade and Trenton and several nieces and nephews.



Graveside services for Claudy Douglas McCoy will be conducted Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dripping Spring Baptist Church Cemetery with Crandall Barrow officiating. there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
