Elizabeth Still married John L. Brewster and had 2 kids: Matilda "Tilda" Elizabeth and Lany Anntelula "Lula" Brewster. Her husband John L. Brewster died during the battle at Missionary Ridge (Chattanooga, Tennessee) during the Civil War. He was a volunteer in the 37th Alabama Infantry, Company B. He was more than likely buried in a mass grave in the Ridge. He died the same year his youngest daughter was born.
