Terry left high school at the age of 16 so that he could start his family with his loving wife and was very proud to have earned his GED many years later. Brenda was the love of his life since the age of 12. Terry retired December of 2013 after twenty-three and a half years at Rushville Elementary School, where he met many dear and loving friends. He treasured his family and close friends and loved spending time with them.
Surviving to cherish his memory, is his loving wife, Brenda; son Tracy and wife Rose; grandchildren, Shayle Hornaday and Logan Hornaday; brother, Vernon Hornaday; and sister, Patty Glenn of Rushville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Eric L. “Slick” Hornaday in 2015; grandson, Derick Hornaday in 2018; brothers, Jimmy, Roy, Bill and Richard Hornaday all of Rushville; sisters, Linda Hensley and Elaine Kennedy both of Rushville. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor John Wall presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 9 AM until the time of service the same day in the mortuary.
Burial will be Rushville East Hill Cemetery.
