Levi Buzzard, 88 year old Eucha resident, went to be with his Lord Saturday, December 22, 2018.

Levi was born in Jay on June 11, 1930 to Lloyd and Emma (Summerfield) Buzzard.

In 1948 he graduated from Jay High School.

He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Sylvia Cunningham, on April 4, 1952 in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Together they raised four children. Levi was an outdoorsman. Therefore, he supported his family working at sawmills, cutting wood, hauling hay, and raising cattle. Levi was a born again Christian that read and studied the Bible every night. He loved his family unconditionally and enjoyed spending time with them and teaching them scriptures. He was a kind, caring, loving, and generous soul that so many will forever miss.

Survivors include his children: Luther Buzzard and wife Beverly of Jay, Glenda Gibe and husband David of Jay, Randy Buzzard and Angie of Jay, and Sheila Sturges and husband Kevin of Langley, siblings: Claretta Meadows, Viola Moore, Albert Buzzard, and Harley Buzzard, 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and a host other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Sylvia Buzzard, and siblings: Delbert Buzzard, Henry Buzzard, Lela Buzzard, Alfred Buzzard, and Otis Buzzard.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Assembly of God Church, Jay, OK.

Interment will follow at Yellow Tree Cemetery
