Marcella McWhorter, 77, of Flora, Ind., formerly of Canton, passed away Friday (April 19, 2013) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, Ind.

She was born Nov. 3, 1935, to Chalmer and Mabel (Pullen) Allen.

Surviving are one daughter, JoCena Shake (Steve) of Glasford; three grandsons, Steve Shake (Melody), Jeremy Shake (Cristal) and Brandon Shake (Jodi); 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Keith Allen of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

Cremation has been accorded, with a private family graveside service held.
