OBITUARY
William P. Bonifield, son of Charley and Amanda Bonifield, was born in La Crosse, Missouri, Oct. 20, 1882, and died Nov. 1, 1922, age 40 years and 11 days. He has been in failing health for several years with diabetes.
On Feb. 29, 1912 he was united in marriage to Mabel Foltz of Bucklin. He is survived by his wife; his mother Mrs. Amanda Rickey of La Crosse, Missouri; one brother, C.M. Bonifield of Elmer, Missouri; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Moore of Atlanta, Missouri, Mrs. Della Bloss of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Mrs. Tabbie Phillips of La Plata, Missouri.
His father preceded him in death 33 years ago.
He joined the Christian Church at Moore's Chapel at an early age.
Short services were held by S.L. Gash. Interment was in the Murray Cemetery.
