He was born in McConnells Mills, October 2, 1890, a son of Henry J. and Catherine Kress Angerer. He was married in Pittsburgh June 12, 1912, to Margaret Elizabeth Diehl, who survives.
Mr. Angerer was a retired farmer, and lived at his present Senate 80 years. He was a life-member of St. Paul's Church, Canonsburg, where he served as a trustee for 38 years. In 1951 the congregation honored him by naming him honorary trustee for life in recognition of his service.
Surviving in addition to his wife are five daughters, Mrs. Catherine Buchanan of Hickory, Mrs. Okey C. (Mildred) Coen of Philo, Ohio, Mrs. Elmer F. (Anna) Brautigam of Hickory, Mrs. Frank C. (Edna) Brautigam of North Clymer, N.Y., and Mrs. Franklin G. (Dorothy) Hurl of Pleasant Hills; 17 grand-children and six great-grandchildren.
