Anna Margaret Angerer Brautigam, 99 of Hickory, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Golden Living Center.

She was born November 3, 1917 in Canonsburg, the daughter of the late John Adam Angerer and Margaret E. Diehl Angerer.

Anna was a seamstress and worked on custom drapery.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Midway.

On October 23, 1946, she married Elmer Forrest Brautigam, who died in 1979.

Surviving are a son, Duane Forrest (Valerie) Brautigam of Scottsville, VA; two daughters, Carol Lynn (Richard) Bishop of Bradford Woods, PA and Judith Ann (Greg) Rudman of Washington; two sisters, Edna Brautigam of Panama, NY and Dorothy Hurl of Jefferson Hills, PA; seven grandchildren, Amy (James)Tilson, Jill (Wes) Colflesh, Bethany (Michael) Newell, Kelly (Mark) Berrang, Lauren Brautigam, Zachary Rudman and Benjamin (Emily) Rudman; six great grandchildren, Matthias, Aubrey, Karissa and Caroline Tilson and Claire and Samuel Newell.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are two sisters, Catherine Buchanan and Mildred Coen.

Friends will be received Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. and Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Additional visitation will be held Monday, July 3, 2017 from noon to 1:00 p.m., the time of service at First Baptist Church of Midway, 210 Front St., Midway, PA with Pastor Benjamin Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Prospect Cemetery.
