JONESBORO - Lillian Christine Bishop Hively, 76, of Jonesboro, left this life on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018.
She was preceded in life by her father, Hardy Jake Bishop; her mother, Rosie Marie Bishop; four brothers, Bill Bishop, Charles Bishop, Loyd Franklin Bishop and James Bishop; and a grandson, Nathan Hunter Ragsdale.
Christine was mother to Douglas Edward Hively of Little Rock and Tammy Arlen Holder of Jonesboro. Christine was married to Elzie "Scrub" Hively, a World War II veteran and Korean War soldier.
Mrs. Hively is survived by her sisters, Bobbie Ballew, Doris Anne Holladay and Elizabeth Ann Broadway; and three brothers, Kenneth Earl Bishop, Douglas Ray Bishop and Hardy Dewayne Bishop.
Christine was a lifelong resident of Craighead County and was blessed to have spent many happy years with her family. She was a member in good standing at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
A visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Emerson Funeral Home. All other services will be private.
