Shirley Ann (Greaser) Coleman, 83, of Kitzmiller died on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at her daughter's home in Elk Garden, WV surrounded by her family.

Born on June 24, 1935, in Oakmont, WV, she was the daughter of the late Elmer T. and Mable (Paugh) Greaser.

She was a 27-year, life member of the Kitzmiller Volunteer Fire Department and served as their chaplain; and was a past member of the Kitzmiller Lions Club and Elks Lodge #2481 in Oakland.

She was also an EMT and was a CPR instructor for Garrett Regional Medical Center.

Shirley had also attended cosmetology school at Allegany College of Maryland and took courses in massage therapy through Garrett Community College.

Over the years, she had been the owner and operator of Shirl's Ceramics, Shirl's Restaurant, Magic Touch Tanning Salon, Hill Top Fun Center and Bill's Service Station.

She had retired from the Garrett County Department of Social Services as a Fiscal Clerk II after 40 years of service.

In addition to spending time with her family, Shirley enjoyed cake decorating, puzzles, sewing, crafting and going out to eat.

She is survived by four daughters, Misty Barbe, Kathy Paugh and husband Bernard, Sharon Paugh and husband Robert, all of Elk Garden, WV, and Lisa Davis and husband Tom of Kitzmiller; two sons, William "Billy" Abernathy of Elk Garden, WV and Joseph Lucas and girlfriend Emily Collette of Kitzmiller; grandchildren, Tammy Ross and husband Larry of Nokesville, VA, Scott Paugh and Jody Paugh and wife Brandi of Elk Garden, Missi Nesselrodt and husband Shawn of Kitzmiller, Robert Paugh and wife Michelle of Elk Garden, Alisa Huffman and husband Derek of Thomas, WV, Ashley Davis of Kitzmiller, Kristi Fratz and husband Zachary of Accident, Tommy Davis of Kitzmiller, Paige Pierce and husband Derrick and Colton Lucas of Bloomington, and Allie Collette of Kitzmiller; great grandchildren, JD DeVelbiss, Melissa Ross, Jennifer Ross, Angela Ross, Patrick Paugh, Tyler Mason, Mckenzie Paugh,Josh Nesselrod,Justin Nesselrodt, Micayla Paugh, Zackery Paugh, Westyn Huffman, Ryden Huffman, Aiden Davis, Bella Davis, Evelyn Fratz, Ellie Fratz, Paislee Pierce, Kynlee Pierce, and Baby Davis due in January of 2019; siblings, Milly Lucas of Kitzmiller, Tommy Greaser and wife Diane of Elk Garden, and Vickie Floyd and husband Steve of Stuarts Draft, VA; numerous nieces and nephews; several very close friends and was loved by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, William I. Lucas, Jr. and a sister, Julia Reel.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St. Kitzmiller on Monday, August 13, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.

A funeral service will be held in the Elk Garden Assembly of God on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 11 AM with Pastor Matthew Paugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Kalbaugh Cemetery.

Shirley's family would like to thank Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Garrett Regional Medical Center, Ruby Hospital MICU, Potomac Valley Hospice and all of the family and friends who reached out during Shirley's illness.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kitzmiller Volunteer Fire Department, 249 E. Main St., Kitzmiller, MD 21538.
