PEORIA HEIGHTS - Cynthia Jean Gorman, 67, of Peoria Heights passed away at 2:01 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in the mausoleum, with Pastor Linda Strader officiating. There will be no visitation.
Cynthia was born on August 30, 1951, in Peoria, the daughter of Kenneth and Norma (Rummerfield) Gronewold. She married Donald Gorman on May 4, 1974, in Chillicothe. He survives.
She is also survived by her mother of Chillicothe; sons, Corey (Kimberly) Gorman of Peoria and Tyler (Gina) Gorman of Dunlap; brothers, Alan (Maryanna) Gronewold of Sparland and Kyle (Laurie) Gronewold of South Streator; grandchildren, Madison, Collin, Olivia and Sophia; and godson, Anthony Whittenburg.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Mark Gronewold.
She worked for over 25 years in the cafeteria for Peoria Heights School District 325.
