She was the daughter of the late Charles Lewis and Mary Etta (Payton) Anderson.
Betty worked at Poe's Cafeteria, the Old Hickory Furniture Co., and Central Coil, all in Martinsville, and at Automotive Armature in Mooresville. She had previously attended Hynsdale Christian Church. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and lover her family.
She was the mother of five sons; Charles W. "Bill", Ray, Gene, Frank and Bob Cure. She was the grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 18.
Betty is survived by two sisters, Lavone Sims and Patty Wilson, and was preceded in death by three sisters, Justine Denney, Phyllis Jones and Barbara Koger; three brothers, Charles "Peck", Richard "Dick" and Don Anderson.
Services were entrusted to Neal and Summers Mortuary of Martinsville, Indiana.
