Gregory Don Gleason, Age 75, of Homer Glen, passed away peacefully Monday, August 28, 2018, at Loyola University Medical Center. He was born in Buckley, Illinois, living in Lockport-Homer Glen most of his life. Retired from General Motors after more than 30 years of service.
A United States Navy Veteran. An avid woodworker, but his greatest joy was his family.
Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Cheney) Gleason, and his parents, Francis C and Velma (Morgan) Gleason.
Survived by his children, Colleen (Tim) Schoffstall and Sean (Lisa) Gleason; three grandchildren, Lisa Rae (Kurt) Reichenbach, Jamie Lynn Schoffstall, and Erin Rose Gleason; a great-granddaughter, Eleanor Rae Reichenbach and a brother, Michael A. (Patricia) Gleason. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Per Greg's wishes, cremation rites were respectfully addressed, and will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood at a later date.
