Doris Calvery Moore


Wicomico - Doris Calvery Moore, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2006.


Doris was the wife of the late Alex Moore for 52 years. Doris was a longtime member of Providence Baptist Church who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.


Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Morris and husband, Billy; two grandchildren, Donna Stickrath and husband, John, and David Ford and wife, Tracy; four great-grandchildren, Dana, John Boy, Cheyenne and Isaiah; and sister, Margie Robins.


Graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.


In our loved ones memory, memorial contributions may be made to the Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad.
