Margie Ambrose Robins, 95, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. She was born in Gloucester County to the late Lemuel B. and Mary Ruth Walker Ambrose and was a longtime member of Bellamy United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hurtell Robins, her daughters Joyce Robins and Carolyn Dennis. She is survived by her grandchildren, Cherie Martin, Robert "Jody" Martin, Cindy Martin, and Peter G. Johnston; her great grandchildren Tyler Martin, Derek Martin, Adam Martin and his wife Mandy, and Ashley Crist, her great great grandchildren Maleia and Cameron, nieces and nephews, and special friends who the family would like to give special thanks to for their special care, Sherry Graham, Doris Herr, and Tony Brown.
The family will receive friends at Bellamy United Methodist Church on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 1-2:00 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Kenneth Waclo. Memorial donations may be made to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
