Laura and Matt were members of the Baptist Church; they were active in their church; they visited the sick. Matt was a farmer all his life; he farmed near St. Clair, Tennessee; they owned the farm; Matt also did a great amount of county road work. Laura loved to sew. Laura and Matt were buried side by side in the old Henshaw cemetery. They had no children.
