Lottie Illene McKenzie, age 69, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (August 15, 2018) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on April 7, 1949 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Shelby and Elsie Reynolds Basham.
She was a seamstress at IMS Sewing Factory who enjoyed swimming, canning, fishing and watching humming birds and butterflies from her front porch. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by three sons, Timothy Mudd (Tina) of Leitchfield, Christopher Mudd (Mandy) of Clarkson and Porky Mudd (Fawn) of Leitchfield; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Earl Basham of Owensboro, Homer Basham of Leitchfield, Shelby Basham of Owensboro, Barney Basham of Corydon, IN, Minnie Jane Adams of Louisville, Linda Beville and Ovil Basham, both of Leitchfield; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald McKenzie, an infant daughter and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, (August 18, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Kyle Blankenship will be officiating. Burial will be in the Broadway Cemetery.
