Miss Emma Peka
CHATFIELD, Minn.- Miss Emma Peka, 77, lifelong Jordan Township resident, died late Tuesday evening at Olmsted Community Hospital, Rochester, after a long illness.
She was born Feb. 17, 1886, in Jordan township to Joseph and Josephine Peka. She and a brother farmed on the home farm many years.
Survivors are: Her brother, Edward, Chatfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Antonia Popelka, Chatfield, and Mrs. Anna Chappell, Spring Valley. Her parents, three brothers and one sister have died.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Boetzer-Akeson Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert Villwock, Pioneer Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Chatfield Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Albin Kadlec, Irvin Timm, Leo Horan, Walter Greenlee, Elmer Plenge and Otto Rehling.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
