UPDATE 6/28/2023: Regarding burial site (White Plains or Hiddenite) . . . I found an inventory of Hiddenite Cemetery online (NCGenWeb and not connected to Find A Grave) which has John Thomas Adams and his wife Ruby buried there. I also checked a book that I have from the Alexander County Genealogical Society on Alexander cemeteries . . and he is not listed in White Plains (I didn't buy the volume that has Hiddenite in it). I think you would be safe in switching the memorial to Hiddenite Cemetery. Regards, Steve Murdock
