Mrs. Stikeleather was a native of Hiddenite, North Carolina, having made Jackson her home for the past 62 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, a former member of the Eastern Star and a former Rainbow Girls leader.
Mrs. Stikeleather was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh P. Stikeleather, Sr., a son, Tommy Stikeleather and a grandson, John B. Richards.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Huey and Bonnie Stikeleather and Todd and Wendi Stikeleather all of Jackson; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Verlin Lipps, Jackson; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
