"HAMPTON - Arpie Dycus Littlejohn, widow of Jack H. Littlejohn, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009.
Born July 28, 1925 in Shelby, N.C., she was a Peninsula resident for more than 60 years. Jack and Arpie were married for 65 years.
Mrs. Littlejohn retired from Newport News Shipbuilding as a Supervisor in the Reproduction Department after 37 1/2 years of service. She was a charter member of West Hampton Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday School teacher for more than 40 years. "
