Reuben was son of Isaac Yarian and Elizabeth Harrold.
He married 1st on February 28, 1882, in Noble County, Indiana, to Clara D. Knight. They divorced and she remarried to Perry E. Snyder.
He married 2nd on October 3, 1899, Allen County, Indiana, to Caroline "Carrie" E. Grover. They appear in the 1900 census of Wayne Township, Allen County, Indiana. He was a house painter.
He married 3rd on October 12, 1910, Allen County, Indiana, to Anna Rich. They appear in the 1920 census of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was a painter and proprietor of a wholesale hardware business. His granddaughter Dorothy Yarian, age 12, was in the home at that time. In 1930 they were still in Fort Wayne. In the home was a grandson Clyde Hull 23, a nephew Ralph King 22, and an adopted daughter Betty M. Yarian 4.
