Ruth was born in Paintsville, Ky., to the late John and Essie Lyon.
She lived in Marion for most of her life. She married Ochal R. LeMaster on Jan. 1, 1931, and he died in 1975. She then married Carl Goff and he died in 1997. She was a homemaker and seamstress and loved gardening and bingo. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Marion Moose Lodge.
She was a loving mother of seven children, Ochal R. (Margaret) LeMaster, Fairmount, Dr. Pierre (Margaret) LeMaster, Fayetteville, N.C., Robert A. (Marsha) LeMaster, Anita M. Lanning, Marion, Kaye (Charles) Witt, Sharon L. Riddle, all of Marion, Margaret A. (Wilson) Caudill, Mier; 28 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sons, Stanley Scott LeMaster and Dolan M. LeMaster; and daughter, Phyllis M. LeMaster.
