Anita was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on February 13, 1932. She was one of ten children born to Ochel Roma and Ruth G. (Lyons) LeMaster. She passed away on December 11, 2014 in Miller’s Merry Manor, Marion.

She was a homemaker most of her life. In her early years she enjoyed baking, sewing and singing. Later she enjoyed playing bingo and was a former member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by 4 children- Lyndell Scott (Sandy) Sandoval, Milford, Indiana; Reuben Junior (Maria) Sandoval, Wilmington, Illinois; Joseph Allen (Carlota) Sandoval, Chicago; David Dwight (Rachel) Sandoval, Austin, Texas;
2 brothers- Pierre (Linda) LeMaster, Kingsport, Tennessee; Robert Allen LeMaster, Marion;
2 sisters-Margaret Ann (Wilson) Caudill, Mier; Katie Witt, Marion;
7 grandchildren;
9 great-grandchildren;
2 great-great grandchildren

She is preceded in death by her husband- Clifford O. Lanning;
5 siblings- Stanley LeMaster, Junior LeMaster, Dolan LeMaster, Sharon Riddle, Phyllis LeMaster

Extended friends and family are welcomed for visitation from 11am-1pm on Monday, December 15, 2014 in Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana.

Funeral will be held at 1pm, Monday, December 15, 2014 in the funeral home with Rev. Emery Bailey officiating.

Burial will be in Thrailkill Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
