She attended Dreyer School and graduated from Yoakum High School. She married Dr. Louis F. Boening on December 28, 1957.
Aileen was a rancher and homemaker, and assisted her husband in veterinary medicine until his death in 2012. They resided near Yoakum and managed a cattle ranch in DeWitt County. She was active in the Yoakum Garden Club, Republican Women of the Yoakum Area, Progressive Study Club, Taxpayers League, the Birders of Yoakum, and obtained her student pilot license. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and was active in the Lutheran Church Women.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation to begin 10 a.m., Friday, July 20, 2018 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home, with Funeral Service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Alsen Wenzel officiating. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
