Parents Harry Wilson Hamblin and Elizabeth Eells Howland Hamblin (later Kelley). Alice was eighth-generation descent via mother from John Howland, Mayflower passenger; see:

Graduated from Lawrence High School, Falmouth MA as Class of 1907 valedictorian.
Married to Henry George Lambert of Boston at Falmouth, MA on 16 September 1912 by Henry Herbert Smythe, Rector (Falmouth 1912, Vol 1893-1934 pp 36). Married 16 years; two children: Henry Lambert b. 16 October 1913 in Waverly MA (Belmont birth certificate Year 1913 Vol 2 Page 37 No 113); 2nd child: David Alden Lambert b. 19 June 1917 at 19 G. Street, Boston MA (Boston Birth Certificate No. 9298). Divorce decreed 1 May 1929 (sons 11 and 15 years old) filed by Henry at Suffolk County Probate Court #7132; 5 May 1958 Court of Boston document; Alice H. Lambert of Dedham in Norfolk County, libelee; Henry of Boston libellant, in favor of libellant for "Utter desertion"). Active for some time with the Barnstable Women's Christian Temperance Union.

Later lived in Maine, reportedly remarried to Thomas Edgar. After divorce had a series of jobs in Boston, and a small corner convenience store for awhile, but lost ownership to the landlord. Often visited her mother & step-father's home in Yarmouth, MA. Later lived in Falmouth, and according to family, died 1943 in Revere, MA (secondary Family Search data says death was 1938).
