WINNFIELD -- Services for Olive Brooks will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery under direction of Southern.
Mrs. Brooks, 68, of Winnfield died at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Schumpert Medical Center, Shreveport.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Winnfield Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband, J. C. Brooks Jr. of Winnfield; three sons, Jimmy D. Brooks of Shreveport, Donald G. Brooks of Natchitoches and Richard L. Brooks of Dallas, Texas; her mother, Bessie Barnard of Shreveport; three sisters, Mell [sic Nelwyn] Campbell of Shreveport, [Mrs.] Barney Davitt of Baton Rouge and Elaine Neely of Shreveport; and seven grandchildren.
