Howard Dwayne Pollard, age 73, died Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was born March 14, 1945 in Prentiss County to the late Marcus Browning Pollard and Letha Pollard. He was the owner of Pollard’s Used Cars. He loved to play with cars and his family. Howard was a member of the Booneville Freewill Baptist Church.

Services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Nichols officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscumbia Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife Betty Williams Pollard of Booneville, three daughters Stacey Pollard Kitchens (Denis) of Shutesberry, MA, Candace Pollard Penry (Tyler) and Leslie Pollard both of Booneville, two sons Marcus Browning Pollard and Josh Pollard both of Booneville, three sisters Verlene Heady (Orville) of Lake Jackson, TX, Pam English and Lawanda Gahagan both of Booneville, one brother John Ray Pollard (Rosa) of Gonzalas, LA, and three grandchildren Violet Kitchens of Shutesbery, MA, Eli Zane Penry and Savannah Burgess both of Booneville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Billy Williams and Terry Burgess, five sisters Novolee Ward, Luvene Turner, Frankie Burks, Mary Robinson, and Joann Myracle, and five brothers, Derward Pollard, Sidney Pollard, Q.D. Pollard, Warren Pollard, and James Robert Pollard.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018, from 5 p.m. til 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
