Homer, Ill., August 10. – Pinkney William Bear died at noon Tuesday, at his home, after a long illness from consumption. Deceased was born in Indiana November 9, 1845, and came to Champaign county fifty years ago. He is survived by a wife and five children.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the residence and the remains will be laid to rest in Old Homer cemetery.
