Mildred Cook Crawford, 81, of Abee's Grove Church Rd., Valdese, departed this life to her heavenly home on Friday February 12, 2010 at Palliative Care Center & Hospice of Catawba Valley.
Mrs. Crawford was born on November 4, 1928 in Avery County to Conard Cook and Ollie Stanbury Cook.
She was retired from Waldensian Bakeries, and was an active member of Abee's Chapel Baptist Church where she was a faithful member of the choir, a former Sunday School teacher, and church treasurer for over 27 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ron Crawford; one brother, Dennis Cook; and one sister, Betty Estep.
Interment: Abee's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
