Mr. Lawson died Wednesday, June 19, 1985, at UT Health Center in Tyler.
He was born Sept. 9, 1931 in Anderson County to James Timothy Lawson and Rachel Cross Easley.
Survivors include his wife, Freddie May Lawson; sons, Ralph Strong, Fred Lee Lawson, and Albert Marion Timothy Lawson, all of Palestine; daughters, Rosetta Guillen, Tonette Armstrong, Mary Thumann, Sherry Ann Zarate, Ethel Jean Ledesma, all of Palestine, and Linnie Russell of Tyler; brothers, John Wesley Lawson, and James Henry Lawson of Elkhart, and Ernest Lawson of Irving; sisters, Cora Mae Hamby of Palestine, Flora Thompson, Linnie Lingo, and Elender Munsinger of Elkhart, and Lora Boren of Irving.
