Nelida E. Dockstader, 100, of Arlington Heights and a lifelong Cubs fan, was born September 5, 1917 in Wittenberg, WI to Nelson and Ida Jacobson and she passed away October 17, 2017. Nelida was the beloved wife of the late Martin Helke and Omer Dockstader; loving sister of Joyce Selness and the late Lydia Westphal, Gerda Lendved, Ismar Jacobson, Carl Jacobson, Orlando Jacobson and Walter Jacobson; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her nephew Paul Westphal and her wonderful caregivers and many friends. Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3637 Golf Road, Evanston, IL. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.
