She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Carol (Robert) Schumacher, Nancy (John) Miller, Joan (fiancé Tom Gajeski) Steeno; sons, Terrence (Janice) Steeno, John (Jan) Steeno, and Jeffrey (Tracy) Steeno. Janet was proud of her 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband Harold, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Marie Steeno in 1960; sisters, Lorrene (Phillip) Marhol, Clara (Helmuth) Gehm, Hulda (August) Simon, Lucille (Alvin) Wilkie; brothers, Herbert (Edna) Bahr, Adolph, and two twin brothers who died at infancy; father-in-law, William (Lucy and Ruby) Steeno Sr.; brothers-in-law, William (Arletta) Steeno Jr., Lloyd (Bernadine) Steeno and sisters-in-law, Delores (Carl) Edges and Patty Steeno.
Visitation will be held at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Sunday, June 3, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a parish wake service at 5:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday, June 4, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Rd., from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mark VanderSteeg officiating.
