Funeral services for R. C. Bahr, who passed away at his farm home in the town of Washington at 11:20 p.m. on Sunday, were held at 1:30 p. m. on Wednesday at the residence, continuing at Emanuel Lutheran church near White Clay Lake. The Rev. K. R. Going officiated and burial was in Woodlawn cemetery in Shawano. The deceased had been in ill health for the past three years.
Robert C. Bahr was born on April 16, 1881, on the farm where he passed away, and resided there all his life. His wife preceded him in death three years ago. He is survived by seven children: Clara, Mrs. Helmuth Gehm, Green Bay; Irene, Mrs. Phil Marohl, town of Washington; Hulda, Mrs. August Simon, Bonduel; Herbert, town of Green Valley; Lucille, Mrs. Alvin Wilke, town of Underhill; Adolf and Janet at home. He also leaves one brother, Herman, town of Washington, three sisters, Mrs. Charles Fischer, Mrs. August Fischer and Mrs. John Bartelt, all of the town of Washington, and ten grandchildren.
