DIXON, Ruth L., 88, of Northridge, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on March 15, 1930 to Willie & Martha (Wright) Browning. Ruth was a devoted member and active supporter of the Northridge Free Will Baptist Church for over 50 years. Preceded in death by her husband, William Scott “Bill” Dixon, and 4 sisters & 4 brothers. Survived by 5 daughters, Alma Kercher, Judy Pelfrey, Donna Glenn (Larry), Linda Dixon & Kim Dixon; 3 sons, Bob Dixon (Birdine), Danny Dixon (Susan) & Billy Dixon; 22 grandchildren and numerous great & great great grandchildren; sisters, Bertha Thomas & Anna Duncan; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Northridge Free Will Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Ave., Dayton, OH 45414. Pastor Tim Hamilton, officiating. Interment Willow View Cemetery.
