Clyde Browning age 94 a Connersville resident went home to be with the Lord on Saturday October 22, 2011 at the Flatrock River Lodge in Rushville.

He was born March 3, 1917 in Jackson County, KY the son of the late Willie and Martha Wright Browning.

In his early years he lived and farmed in Kentucky before coming to Connersville in the late 1940’s. He worked at Philco and Ford from 1948 until 1982.

Clyde proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He is a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Clyde is survived by two daughters, Marjorie White, Connersville and Betty Wilson, Metamora; three sisters Ruth Dixon of Dayton, Bertha Thomas of Dayton, and Anna Browning, McKee, KY; 22 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Dora M. Davidson Browning to whom he was married July 26, 1941 in McKee, KY. She passed away June 26, 2009.

He is also preceded by two sons, Herschel Browning and Harold Parott: three brothers, Willie Browning Jr, Everett Browning, Rexall Browning #158370003, four sisters Hazel Moore, Opal Baldwin, Bobbie Lairso, and Myrtle Cox #5350124; two son-in-laws, William Wilson and Robert White; a grandson David Wilson; and a great grandson Eli Wilson.
