Aaron Loder Jr. was the son of Aaron Loder Sr. and Rebecca Darling, the 8th of their 10 children. His siblings are James, Catherine, Rachel, Robert, John, Sophia, William, Issac, and Rebecca. He married twice. His first wife was Julia Ann Robertson, the daughter of William Robertson and Rebecca ?, on Oct. 15, 1874 in Coshocton, Ohio. They were blessed with a son, William Aaron Loder. Julia died on July 21, 1880. William was sent to his sister Rachel to live. He married again to the widow, Nancy Alice Dunfee Olive, the daughter of William Benedict Dunfee and Mary Elizabeth Williams, on Sept. 23, 1888 in Union, OH. Nancy was the widow of Erastus Clinton Olive, and brought to the marriage her two remaining children of 5, Ada and Freida Olive. Aaron and Nancy were blessed with three children, Winfield Ross, Michael Earl, and Nellie M. Loder. While they were visiting their daughter Freida Olive Thomas in Potter, Ark., he died on Feb. 9, 1905. He was survived by his wife, Nancy, his children, William Aaron, Winfield Ross, Michael Earl, Nellie , and step-daughter Freida .
