Aaron Loder was the son of John Loder and Rachel Fisher, the 2nd of their children. His siblings are William, Martha, Eliza, and James. He married Rebecca Darling, the daughter of Robert Darling Sr. and Mary Catherine Passence, on June 14, 1827 in Coshocton, Ohio. They were blessed with 9 children, James, Catherine, Rachel, John, Sophia, William, Aaron, Issac, and Rebecca. His Obit: Aaron Loder, an old resident of Jackson township, died last Thursday, aged 82 years. He had been in declining health for some time, and his death resulted from dropsy. During the latter months of his life he made his home with the family of Daniel McCurdy in Bedford township, where his last days were made as comfortable as kind hearts and careful hands could bestow. The interment was made Saturday at the Pleasant Hill Church. Mr. Loder was one of God's noblest works -- an honest man. He had the confidence and respect of all who knew him, and lived and died in the Christian's faith and hope.
