She married John S. Brodrick (1801-1864). They had five children:

1) Joel Sayre Brodrick (d.1864). Private, 2nd New Jersey Infantry, died as a POW at Andersonville, Georgia.

2). Jane Brodrick (1825-1917)

3). Virgil Brodrick (1833-1863) Lieutenant Colonel, 1st New Jersey Cavalry. KIA at Battle of Brandy Station, Virginia on June 9, 1863.

4). Mary Brodrick (1834-1917)

5). Sarah Brodrick (1841-1881) Married H.M. Freeman.

There is also evidence they had a sixth child who was born and died after living three years.
