David "Gene" Eugene Baker, 73, of Connelly Springs, passed away, at home, on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
David was born September 9, 1944 to the late William M. Baker and Ruth Whitener Baker.
He worked as a diesel mechanic and loved hunting and Carolina basketball.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Jeff Carter and Rev. Ray Baker officiating.
Interment will follow at Warlick's Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service.
