Doris Louise Lane of Burleson, Texas passed away May 16, 2018, at the age of 95. She was born September 13, 1922, to Arthur Thomas Arnold and Alpha Mae (Sneed) Arnold in Star, Texas. Doris married Roy B. Lane on March 14, 1940, in Lampasas, Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lane Hix and husband Joe of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Paul Gilbert and wife Suzanne of Mansfield, Texas and Bobby Gilbert and wife Lori of Costa Rica; great-grandchildren, Cody, Brittani, and Macey; great-great-grandchildren, Blake; and brother, C.H. Arnold.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Roy B. Lane, parents, Arthur and Alpha Arnold, and siblings, Connor, Vera, Leona, Eddie, Von Dean, and Clara.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. til 10:00 a.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
