"Services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Henderson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steven Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at the Gouldbusk Cemetery with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:30 till 6:30 pm at Henderson Funeral Home.
"She was born Violet Marie Savage on April 26, 1938 in Gouldbusk, Texas to Roy and Bertha Wright Savage. Violet was raised in Abilene, Texas where she attended the Abilene Schools. In November of 1956 she married Van Row in Gouldbusk, Texas. They moved to Midland where they resided many years and she was a housewife raising her children. Violet had been a resident of Coleman since 1981 and was a member of the Baptist Church. She worked at Stemple Mfg for 13 years retiring in 1999.
"Survivors include two daughters—Kathy and husband Steven Jewell of Coleman, Texas; Vanica and husband Charles Maves of Coleman; a son—Robert &andwife Jackie Row of Smithfield, North Carolina; a sister—Esther and husband James Watson of Lake Brownwood, Texas; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
"Violet was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers."
