MRS VIOLA DIXON
61, DIES TUESDAY.

Mrs Viola Dixon, 61, who lived southeast of the city, died about 2 p.m. Tuesday. She had been ill for six years.

Mrs Dixon had lived in this couny for 40 years and was born Nov 4, 1891 in Hico, Texas.

Survivors are the widower, W L (Red) of the home; three sons Ray and Lester both of the home, and Glenn of Hollis, a daughter, Mrs Lucille Payne of Duncan, and the mother Mrs Thursa Armstrong of Lindsay.

Other survivors are four sisters Mrs Jud Anderson and Billie Armstrong of Lindsay, Mrs Lou Johnson of Countyline, and Mrs E S Broderson of Electra, Tex, a brother O. B. Armstrong of Gardenia, Texas and seven grandchildren.

The service will be held at 3 p.m. at the First Christian Church with Roy V Harp, pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev W E Lee pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Bearers will be Roy Ward, Vernon Murphree, Tamal Zigler,
Fred Cleveland, Carl Ables and Jack Davis.

Honorary bearers will be R H Brown, Elmer Zigler, Dr J L Patterson, Dr W R Cheatwood, Dr E B Thomasson, E D Davis, Alton Murphree, B T Conner, W E Cleveland, C N Coker, John L Davis, Abel Hodges, F L Newman, Hegal Branch and Earl Frensley.

Burial will be in the Duncan cemetery under the direction of the Rangeley-Holden Funeral Home.
