Milton Paul Boteler went to the Lord Sunday morning, April 15, 2018 surrounded by his family from his home in Florence. He was the husband of Leisa Geter Boteler. They shared thirty- five years together.

Paul was born in Florence, MS, on November 12, 1951, the son of Bernard and Irma Boteler. He was a graduate of Florence High School and was a prominent athlete. He worked many years as a successful salesman in multiple fields and was a member of Briar Hill Baptist Church.

He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, playing golf, and loved all things Ole Miss. He will be remembered for his love of life, charismatic personality, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. Paul was adored by his brothers and sisters, all of which found great pleasure in spoiling him with their love.

Paul was a great father to his two boys, he loved them so much and cherished every moment he had with them. He had a great influence on them, such as his love for Ole Miss, his relationship with God, and his passion for golf. The boys were introduced to all kinds of activities. Paul loved them for who they were, not what they did or accomplished. Paul loved his wife, Leisa and was always bragging about her to all his friends. He loved having coffee with her in the mornings and talking about their boys. Paul took great joy in bringing happiness to his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Leisa, his son Drew and wife April, his son Kyle and his wife Amanda and his grandson Christopher Paul, his siblings, Harold Boteler (Linda), Virginia Johnson, Carolyn Boteler Brown, Ray Boteler, and Linda Ann Foreman, nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Irma Jones Boteler, brothers, Herman Grant Boteler, Otha Kenneth Boteler, Presley Thompson Boteler, brother in law, Paul Johnston, and nephew Mark Stephen Boteler.

Visitation for Mr. Boteler will be 5pm-7pm Tuesday April 17, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home and again 10am on Wednesday. Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday April 18, 2018 in the Chancellor chapel with interment to follow at Briar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
