Mrs. Harriett Applegate, 80, Yorktown, died Monday in the Delaware County Nursing Home.
Born in Scott County, Ky., she had lived in Yorktown for 67 years. She was once employed at Warner Gear for two years, and was a member of Yorktown Nazarene Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Anna Lou Ware; two sons, Wilbur and Charles Applegate; a brother, Midge Barlow; three sisters, Mrs. Lula McKibben, Mrs. Clara Mahoney and Miss Anna Barlow, all of Yorktown; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Richman Funeral Home, Yorktown, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Yorktown Nazarene Church with Rev. A.F. Hayes and Rev. Chester Pasco officiating. Burial will be in Yorktown Cemetery.
